Sunreach Sky Islands in Palworld: How to Get There and What's Inside

Updated: 2026-07-17

What Sunreach is

Sunreach is a cluster of floating islands added in 1.0, high above the world. It's one of the late regions, but not the final one — the World Tree comes after it. Local enemies start at level 60, and you'll want to be closer to 69–70 to explore comfortably. Here you mine Soralite ore for strong gear, and Pals live here that appear nowhere else.

On our interactive map the Sunreach islands sit on the main map, in its far corner.

How to reach the islands

You can't fly up to Sunreach from the ground — the only way in is a portal. First beat the seventh of nine towers — the bosses Bjorn and Bastigor (level 60) at the Feybreak Tower — then interact with the altar at its top: it opens the portal to the sky islands. You can challenge this tower from around level 58 if your team is strong enough.

The road to the tower runs through frozen Feybreak, so pack cold-resistant armor, and bring Fire Pals against Bastigor himself (he's an ice titan). You can't reach the tower by air: anti-air turrets cover it and knock you off your mount.

Getting around, and the dangers

The easiest way between islands is a high-stamina mount — such as Jetragon, Selyne or Suzaku; basic flyers simply won't make the distance. If you don't have a flying mount yet, floating teleport spheres are scattered between the islands.

Before assaulting the region's central tower you must disable six defense modules across the islands — otherwise you can't reach the boss.

What's unique: Pals and resources

Sunreach is home to notable new Pals: the dragon Shaolong, the blade-fish Skutlass, the water mount Solmora and the flyer Eidrolon. The region's main resource is Soralite ore, mined with the Plasma Multicutter; Hardwood is gathered here too.

At the top of the region waits the tower boss — Auri with the dragon Shaolong (level 68): a Water/Dragon pairing, so bring fast flyers or Electric Pals.

What comes next

Sunreach is the penultimate step to the finale: its towers count toward unlocking the World Tree. A full list of the region's new Pals and tips on catching them is in the new Pals 1.0: where to find guide.
