Base Levels
Base camp tasks level by level: what to build and how many pals to assign to raise your base level.
Your base level in Palworld goes up by completing base camp tasks — building the required objects and assigning pals to work. There are 35 levels and 66 tasks in total: they raise the worker cap at a base from 1 to 30 pals, and the number of guild bases from 1 to 4.

Frequently asked questions
How do you level up a base in Palworld?
Open the base menu at the Palbox and check the task list for the current level. You need to build the listed objects and assign the required number of pals to the base. Once every task of a level is done, the base advances to the next one — levels cannot be skipped.
What is the maximum base level?
The maximum base level is 35. At that point the worker cap reaches 30 pals and no new tasks appear.
How many bases can you build?
A guild can hold up to 4 bases. A new one unlocks as the base level grows — at levels 8, 15, 25.
How do you increase the number of pals at a base?
The worker cap grows with the base level: one more pal per level, up to 30. There is no separate way to raise it — only base levelling.
