What is research in Palworld?
The Pal Lab is a structure where assigned pals carry out research projects. Each one grants a permanent bonus: faster crafting and egg hatching, higher crop yield, lower material and energy use, stronger base pals, and more.
How do you run research?
Build the lab for the branch you want, assign pals with the matching work suitability and spend materials. Some projects unlock only after you finish the previous one in the chain.
Do research bonuses stack?
Yes. Within a branch, bonuses of the same type add up across levels (e.g. +5%, then another +10% craft speed). A few projects unlock new technologies and structures instead of a stat bonus.
