This Policy explains what visitor data is processed on the Palpedia website (the “Site”), for what purposes and on what legal basis, in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.
Palpedia is an amateur fan project dedicated to the game Palworld and is not affiliated with the game’s developer. The Site is free for visitors but carries advertising blocks from the Yandex Advertising Network. By using the Site you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. What data is processed
The Site has no forms, registration or user accounts and does not ask you for your name, phone number, email address or any other contact details.
The Site uses the Yandex.Metrica web-analytics service, which automatically collects anonymised technical data: IP address, cookies, browser, operating system and device information, screen resolution, language, referrer, viewed pages and on-site actions (clicks, scrolling), as well as session recordings via the “Webvisor” technology. Some of this data may be considered personal data.
The Site participates in the Yandex Advertising Network (RAN) and displays advertising blocks. Cookies and anonymised technical data (device and browser identifiers, IP address, viewed pages) are used to select, display and count ads.
2. Purposes of processing
Web-analytics data is processed to analyse traffic and user behaviour, to improve the operation and content of the Site, and to detect and fix errors. Data collected by the Yandex Advertising Network is used to select, display and count advertising.
Data is not sold. Processing is carried out by the operators named in section 4; for ad delivery, anonymised data may be processed by Yandex Advertising Network partners.
3. Legal basis
The basis for processing is your consent, expressed by continuing to use the Site after being notified (the cookie banner shown on your first visit). If you do not agree, you can disable cookies or JavaScript in your browser settings or use a blocker — in which case no data will be collected.
4. Who processes the data
Analytics data is processed on behalf of the Site owner by Yandex LLC, in accordance with the Yandex.Metrica terms of use and Yandex’s privacy policy. Data is stored on servers located in the Russian Federation.
Advertising on the Site is delivered by the Yandex Advertising Network (Yandex LLC) and its partners; data processing for advertising purposes is carried out in accordance with Yandex’s privacy policy.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The Site uses them for web analytics (Yandex.Metrica), for advertising (Yandex Advertising Network), and to remember your selected language and your consent choice.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time or opt out of analytics (see “Your rights”). This does not affect access to the Site’s content.
6. Retention period
Analytics data is retained for as long as your consent is valid and within the periods set by the Yandex.Metrica service. Data is not kept longer than necessary for the stated purposes.
7. Your rights
You have the right to withdraw your consent, restrict processing, or request information about the processing of your data.
To stop processing, disable cookies or JavaScript in your browser settings, use an analytics blocker, or clear the Site’s data. You can also opt out of tracking using Yandex.Metrica’s own opt-out mechanism.
8. Changes to this Policy
The Site owner may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the latest update.
