How do you fish in Palworld?
Build a fishing rod, find a shadow on the water and cast your bait. In the minigame keep the fish inside the bar until the gauge fills. The bigger the shadow, the rarer and more valuable the catch.
Which pals can you catch?
Fishing catches 33 pal species — aquatic and coastal ones (Turtacle, Pengullet, Jellroy, Celaray, Killamari and more). Rare "large" and "lord" shadows are stronger variants of the same species.
What is bait for?
Bait makes the minigame easier and improves the catch: it widens the catch bar, speeds up finding a rare shadow, softens the miss penalty or boosts item drops.
