Palworld × Terraria collab: the dungeon, the weapons and the Moon Lord

Palworld × Terraria — what it is

In summer 2025 Palworld got the «Tides of Terraria» update (0.6.0) — an official crossover with the classic sandbox Terraria. It added a tiny island with a unique dungeon, the Sealed Realm of Terraria, monsters straight out of Terraria (catchable like any Pal), a set of weapons and armor from that game, and a fearsome raid boss — the Moon Lord.

The whole collab revolves around that one dungeon: it holds the schematics for the gear and the material to craft it, plus a batch of new Pals to hunt. Below — how to get there, what to grab, and whether it's worth it.

How to find the dungeon

The island is tiny and easy to miss on the map. The nearest fast-travel point is the Fisherman's Wharf (around -480, -755): it's on the same island as Obsidian Mountain, south-east of the Eternal Flame tower. From there hop on any water or flying Pal and head south-east — to the Sealed Realm of Terraria (around -421, -786).

I've pinned the spot on the interactive map — open it and use it to navigate. You won't miss the entrance: it's marked by a statue of a knight in Hallowed Armor with a glowing blue portal at its base (Terraria veterans will recognize the hardmode set).

The recommended level is 45. It's rough inside with an under-leveled team, so come prepared and in decent armor.

What's inside

Inside are caves and temple halls styled after Terraria. Don't rush to the exit: smash the rocky and golden walls and check the huts — that's where the chests hide, full of weapon and armor schematics, plus the Celestial Sigil schematic for summoning the Moon Lord.

Grab Hallowed Bars along the way — it's the main material for the collab gear, and you'll need a lot of it (even more if you plan to summon the Moon Lord more than once). At the end of the dungeon a boss is waiting — the Eye of Cthulhu.

For the full enemy list and the contents of both chests — ordinary and special — with drop rates, see the Terraria dungeon page.

Monsters you can catch

The enemies inside aren't just scenery: Terraria monsters and the local Pals are caught as usual. The dungeon is home to Killamari Primo, Starryon, Icelyn, Tombat, Jellroy, glowing Shroomers, Herbil, Dazzi and the rare golden Dumud Gild.

And here are the Terraria guests themselves — they're catchable too, and each now has its own catalog page (they carry no number in the main Paldex, and it's marked as such). There are slimes in every color: green, blue, red, purple and the glowing illuminant and rainbow ones; a floating Demon Eye, an Enchanted Sword, cave and illuminant bats, and the dungeon's master — the Eye of Cthulhu boss.

Levels run from 33 to 44, so pack plenty of spheres — you'll burn through more than you expect. It's handy to estimate the catch chance up front in the capture calculator.

Terraria weapons

The schematics for every weapon drop from the dungeon chests, and the weapons are crafted mostly from Hallowed Bars, Pal Metal Ingots and Enchanted Ingots. Each one has a tier ladder up to a legendary version with roughly doubled stats.

Vortex Beater — the best of the bunch, in my view. A ranged weapon that uses Assault Rifle ammo and periodically launches homing rockets; 300 attack, 3000 durability (legendary — 450 / 6000). The key trick: there's a 66% chance a round isn't consumed on fire — so you can shoot almost without worrying about ammo.

Nightglow — a lantern that fires homing projectiles with no ammo at all. Sounds convenient, but the attack is just 50 (legendary — 100) against a huge 3000/6000 durability. On paper it's homing shots and free ammo; in practice the damage is laughable — the most useless weapon of the set, if you ask me.

For melee: Excalibur sends out shockwaves on each swing (360 attack, legendary — 540) and is great against groups; the Terra Blade fires green waves at range (425 / 637); Terraprisma summons up to nine hallowed blades that fight alongside you (90 each).

A legend of its own is the Meowmere: each swing spits out cat heads that hit separately from the blade, so a single swing lands 3–5 times (200 attack). Its legendary version (222) drops from the raid boss — the Moon Lord.

Armor: the Hallowed set

Besides the weapons, the dungeon lets you assemble the Hallowed Armor set: the plate mail and four head options — mask, headgear, helmet and hood. To complete the full set you'll likely need several dungeon runs — the schematics you want don't drop on the first try.

For collectors there are purely cosmetic trophies too: the Moon Lord Mask and the Eye of Cthulhu Mask.

Raid boss: the Moon Lord

The finale of the collab is the Moon Lord raid boss — at release, the most fearsome enemy in the game. You summon it at an altar using the Celestial Sigil schematic found in the dungeon; the fight is built for co-op — with friends and Pals.

Beating it rewards the Legendary Meowmere and the Moon Lord Statue schematic. Planning to summon it several times? Stock up on Hallowed Bars in advance.

Is it worth it

Definitely yes if you're already level 45+ and want strong gear: the Vortex Beater and the set's blades are genuinely good and noticeably strengthen your team, and the Terraria monsters are a nice addition to the Paldex. Nightglow you can safely skip. The main thing is to come prepared: decent armor, plenty of spheres, and company if you're taking on the Moon Lord.
