How to Make Money Fast and Farm Gold in Palworld

The easiest way to farm money in Palworld is a passive gold coin ranch. Build a Ranch, catch a Mau and assign it there: thanks to its Gold Digger partner skill it periodically digs up Gold Coins on its own while you do everything else.

Alongside that, sell surplus loot and Pals to merchants, grab chests across the island, and in the late game fully automate income with the Gold Coin Assembly Line that turns ingots into cash. Below we break down how to earn gold at every stage.

The Ranch unlocks at level 5 and costs almost nothing, yet it is the most reliable early income. Your key worker is Mau (or its icy form Mau Cryst): the Gold Digger partner skill makes it periodically dig up Gold Coins straight out of the ground. No clicking — money trickles in while you play.

To speed up the gold coin farm, drop several Maus onto one ranch and keep them fed, rested and not burnt out — place beds and food nearby. Maus with work-speed passives (Artisan, +50%, is ideal) dig noticeably faster, and a chest placed right next to the ranch shortens the trip your hauler Pals make.

Even earlier than Mau you can use Vixy — a common fox that produces spheres and coins on the ranch. And in the Feybreak era the golden cat-equivalent, Dumud Gild, drops both gold and Pal Oil. So the whole question of where to get gold coins early on is answered by a single ranch.

In the late game, once high-tier technology opens up (around level 48), you unlock the Gold Coin Assembly Line. How do you earn gold without a ranch? Sell. Wandering Merchants buy almost any loot, materials and crafted gear — once you set up weapon and ammo production you can offload it by the stack. Check where the merchants on the map stand and build your base near a lucrative one.

A separate income stream is selling Pals. Hand surplus caught and bred duplicates to Pal Merchants. Rare species are worth the most: Dumud Gild and Turtacle Terra are valued in the tens of thousands of coins. It pays to breed valuable Pals at the Breeding Farm and sell the extras.

Finally, wanted criminals pay out big: hunt down flagged targets through the bounty board — the tougher Syndicate bosses reward especially generously.

While you explore the island, don't walk past chests — they hold both cash and valuable loot to sell. Dungeons and Syndicate camps are packed with drops that merchants will happily buy, too.
