Catching a Pal

Making Pal Spheres and Capturing Pals As you may have noticed, this island is home to a variety of strange creatures. Known as Pals, these intelligent creatures come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Of course, our activities here would benefit greatly if we were able to harness their abilities. Pals can be captured by a Pal Sphere. While the exact principles are still unclear, it's possible to tame any Pal by catching it with a Sphere. First, check the Technology screen for details, then obtain the Paldium Fragment required for crafting. This strange ore glows with a pale blue light, and is often found near sources of water. Once you finish building your Spheres on a Workbench, you're set to go. Make sure to wear down the Pal you want to capture. Lowering their Health will increase the chances of a successful capture. That being said, most Pals will resist capture, and will fight back. Start by focusing on smaller, weaker Pals until you get better equipment.
