How to strengthen Pals: Statue of Power, souls & condensing

Four independent levers raise any Pal's power: (1) good passive skills; (2) condensing up to 4★ at the Pal Essence Condenser (you need duplicates of the same Pal); (3) level and food; (4) Soul power — boosting stats at the Statue of Power with Pal Souls. These bonuses stack, so a top fighter gets all four at once.

In short: catch a Pal with the right passives, condense it to 4 stars with duplicates, level it to the cap, then pour Souls into it at the statue. Exact EXP curves and all 20 Soul ranks are in our leveling reference.

Passive skills are the cheapest way to add damage and survivability. A combat Pal wants offensive passives; a worker wants passives that speed up its job. See the full list of effects and ranks on the passives page.

Passives lock in on capture and pass down through breeding: pair two parents with the traits you want to stack the perfect set on the offspring. Bad passives can be overwritten by catching the same Pal again or re-breeding.

Condensing means feeding duplicates of one species into the Pal Essence Condenser. Each rank adds a star and noticeably raises base HP, Attack and Defense, and bumps the Partner Skill level by one.

Duplicates are needed in growing amounts: 4 Pals for 1★, 16 for 2★, 32 for 3★ and 64 for 4★ — roughly 116 identical Pals to max it out. Farm them by mass catching at spawn points or run a breeding line. Condense the Pals you actually use first — legendary fighters like Anubis or Jetragon.

Every level raises all of a Pal's stats, so keep your fighters at the cap. EXP comes from taking part in battles; higher levels need more EXP each — see the exact player and Pal curves in our leveling reference.

Watch fullness and sanity (SAN): a hungry or worn-out Pal works and fights worse. Stock the feed box with quality food (cakes, salads, roasts) — it restores fullness better than raw ingredients and keeps morale, and therefore combat performance, up.

Soul power is a separate stat upgrade at the Statue of Power. It boosts four stats — HP, Attack, Defense and Work Speed — by +3% per rank, across 20 ranks, for a maximum of +60% each. It helps both combat and worker Pals.

Ranks are paid with Pal Souls: Small first, then Medium and Large, with the top ranks needing the Giant Pal Soul plus gold per upgrade. Souls drop from defeated and captured Pals and from dungeon chests.

Each stat is upgraded independently, so prioritize: Attack and HP for fighters, Work Speed for workers. The full table of all 20 ranks and how many souls each costs is in our leveling reference.

The workflow is simple: first stack good passives via breeding, then condense the Pal to 4★, level it to the cap, and finish its stats at the Statue of Power. That gives you the strongest possible version of your favorite Pal.
