Where to find Nightstar Sand in Palworld

Nightstar Sand isn't an ore vein but bright-yellow glowing patches right on the sand. They appear only in desert biomes and are collected by hand — no pickaxe or tech needed. The key detail: the patches are visible only at night; by day they don't show, so come to the desert after dark.

The most patches are on Feybreak Island (along the coasts) and in the Dessicated Desert in the northeast of the base map. Spots respawn regularly, so it's convenient to farm in nightly runs; find the nearest ones on the map.

Besides gathering, the sand drops at 100% from the Pals Starryon Primo and Wistella — you can catch or fight them.

The sand is a material for mobility gear and high-tier accessories: jump and dash boots, the Air Walker series, the anti-gravity belt, the beam sword, the advanced bow and the metal detector. If you want to boost your character's mobility, start stockpiling early — it goes into quite a few recipes.
