Where to find and how to get Coralum Ore in Palworld

Where to get Coralum Ore — in short

First, a common myth to dispel: Coralum Ore is not pickaxe-mined and doesn't sit on the seafloor — it has no world veins at all. You get it three ways: drops from whale-type water Pals, collecting floating ocean salvage on the surface, and loot (fishing, oil rigs, enemy camps). No diving or breath-holding needed.

Full recipes and uses are on the item page — Coralum Ore.

Which Pals drop it and where to find them

The biggest yield comes from Neptilius — up to 10 at a 100% rate. Easier steady sources are Whalaska and its fire variant Whalaska Ignis (2–3 each). Look for these whales in the ocean around Feybreak Island; Whalaska is easier to catch during the day near the coast.

For mass farming, keep a team of condensed Jellroy (their passive boosts drops) alongside Neptilius — half an hour of salvage nets a couple of thousand ore.

Ocean salvage near Feybreak

The second rich source is floating debris on the ocean surface near Feybreak. You collect it with a fishing rod while mounted on a water Pal like Jormuntide — no diving needed. You'll want the Powerful Fishing Magnet (unlocks around tech level 61) and a water mount with a saddle; the collection itself is a 'hold it in the green zone' minigame.

Coralum Ore also trickles in from Feybreak fishing caches, from breaking down salvage, and in endgame regions — for example the World Tree fishing pond.

The ingot and what Coralum Ore is for

The main use is the Coralum Ingot: 2 ore + 5 Coal at the Gigantic Furnace (around tech level 61–62). The ingot feeds endgame gear, and the raw ore also goes into mid-tier fishing rods.

If you're planning endgame crafting, set up a whale-and-salvage route near Feybreak early — you'll need a lot of ore.
